A professional Engineer, British Columbia Land Surveyor and former Liberal Member of Parliament for Newton-North Delta from 2006 to 2011, As of Oct 19, 2015 Sukh Dhaliwal is once again serving the constituents of Surrey-Newton.
Dhaliwal presented to the hungry crowd at the local Newton eatery Greek Corner. He focused on the importance of small business and summarized several points that over $10 million has come into the riding in 2017.

Everyone in politics seems to have long memories and the parallels between the recent scandal of MP Randeep Sarai and Sukh’s own endorsement problems back in 2008 are consistent with the public sentiment that politicians are all the same. After a BC Liberal Party review of his candidacy in 2012, Mr Dhaliwal withdraw from running in the provincial election after he was charged with six counts of tax evasion and convicted of 3 counts for his business that he runs with his wife.
MP Sukh Dhaliwal handled the group like a seasoned pro answering several tuff questions with patience and integrity. I had the pleasure to moderate the debate back in the fall of 2015 and Mr. Dhaliwal has always inspired confidence in his abilities and showcased his passion and commitment to the community of Newton.
